Gold Medalist - Rio Paralympic 2016 - Shot Put

The Paralympic Council of Malaysia (PCM) was established in 1989 as a non-government organisation (NGO) to promote the development of para sports for the disabled citizens of Malaysia. Recognised pursuant to the Sports Development Act (Amended) 2018, PCM has been entrusted to provide opportunities for Malaysian para athletes to participate in numerous para sports competitions at national and international levels. It is fully supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) and the Ministry of Education (KPM).

A Courtesy Call On YB Ras Adiba Radzi , Senator Representing PWD (Persons With Disability) Community In Dewan Negara

President of the Paralympic Council of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Megat D. Shahriman Bin Dato’ Zaharudin together with First Admiral Dato’ Subramaniam Raman Nair (R) the Secretary General and Mr Mohan Govindasamy the General Manager, paid a courtesy call to newly appointed Senator of Dewan Negara, YB Ras Adiba Radzi at her office in the Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development in Putrajaya on 15 July 2020. She represents the Persons With Disability Community in Senate.

MPM cari 'Ridzuan, Ziyad, Latif Baharu'

Paralympic Council of Malaysia (PCM) launched Para Athletes Covid-19 Support Project to assist needy para-athletes and their immediate dependents during these challenging times. Phase 1 of this project was launched on 7th April, whereby Healthcare Kits were delivered to 50 para athletes donated by Yayasan Usahawan Negara. On 21st April, Phase 2 saw the distribution of Food Supplies to 40 athletes donated by Malaysia Para Athletics Association. Phase 3 commenced on 28th April, whereby Kiwanis Club of Klang donated 20 bags of food supplies. All distribution was organised and executed by PCM using e-hailing services. PCM seeks donors to contribute in cash or in kind for this effort to be continued until the situation improves.
